I did a REALLY quick wash on the car today, I was in a big rush. It needs a full detail. I also got the T-Tops off and went for a cruise. I'm now in love. Check it out. Terrible pics but at least it's something...

I F'n hate you Chris!!!!:D

That is now 1 of my favorite foxes on the site. My only suggestion are DD rears, & swap out the cheesy centercaps for some factory running pony caps.

thanks Dustin! those are all good suggestions, i think i'll be adding those to the list!

Looks great! Maybe alittle tint?

that's first order of business!

here are some from tonight, i'm pretty pissed they came out blurry ...

That car is literally painted and split two tone exactly how i planned on doing my car. I swear, it's like they say every idea you get someone else has already thought of it. I would've gone with black on top instead of bottom though.

T-Tops FTMFW!!

Do you have a garage for this car? I don't care how fresh the t-top seals are, these cars will LEAK sooner or later. That, and if you have a garage for it, you'll find yourself just leaving the t-tops off and only driving it on nice days, haha.

I am too... So nice.

Agreed and agreed.

The tint will definitely help. Centercaps, and dd rears and it will look bad Larry. I would also lose the tailpipes as I'm not a fan of the look but some people can't put up with the sound of dumps.

Oh yea, and obviously for the weekend a set of Bogarts or something, some 28" slicks and a 200 shot :D

This thread helped in my decision to take my car for a ride around the block...

Holy hell I forgot how insanely stiff the clutch is, and how short and notchy the shifter throws were. Not too mention how high I set the clutch to release and grab, and how quick the RPMs climb if/when you roll into the throttle.

:D

Well i sold my Merkur today and the guy who got it had an '82 t top coupe in his garage, completely stock and unmolested (although thoroughly wore the hell out). It was a sight to see, even being in rough shape. It was straight as an arrow though and completely rust free.
