I ran the car for the first time ever yesterday night! I went up against a black Fox LX notchback 5.0. The first run it was basically dead even, but according to the girl I was with I had a slight edge. The second time I had a crappy launch with lots of wheel spin and got beat by a car length.

Overall I don't feel to bad about it cause those older notchbacks are QUICK cars cause they are freaking light. So I guess I need to work on my launches.

Also I saw this 94 - 95 5.0 red, and I saw it go by the other way quickly and all I saw was the rims so I thought it was Ryan, so I go catch up and that's when I figured out it was red and a 5.0.

That was my night!

Yeah notchback 5.0's are fairly quick, expecially if the person driving it has modded it a bit...it should be interesting to see what you run @ SIR

maybe i will have to take you for a run just for fun since you had some troubles with a Notch with less hp.

You just need some more practice with that stick. My ET's are a good example of that, just with two years i managed to drop my ET's 3 tenths. Also street driving is a bit different from strip drving.

I ran into a saturn on friday night. I figured i would take it easy of the line, boy was i suprised. I took him off the line but he stayed right with me around my ass end. I later found out it was supercharged.

I think if he didn't have all the gay ground effects and a really big fat ugly wing he might have taken me with the less weight.

I'd be up for a run, I want to work on my launches.

P.S. - Ryan I think we need a race too! :)

Damn, thats pretty cool!! It's always tricky racing those pesky 5.0's, ya never know how much has been done to them.

I was thinking more like somewhere outside of Regina! We could just do like a big round robin kinda thing, anyone can race anyone. Or you could just come out and watch. That way we could have some fun and some braging rights for those who win! :)

Maybe everyone could make it out to the CIR 100 foot drags and we could do it there, just an idea

I dono if that would be any good with the all mighty traction problem lol
