Merry Christmas All!

I know that the original 14" Styled Steel Mustang Wheels don't work with the calipers from the Granada but does anyone know if the 15" one's will work? I will be doing the Granada swap on mine am am thinking I might like to retain the original type rim. There are original type repro 15" x 7" rims available and I wonder if that would give the caliper clearance.

Thanks for your help.

if you do happen to have a wheel that won't fit over the granada hub/snout you can always send the rotor out to a machine shop and have the snout turned down, there's plenty of meat there so it's no big deal to have them turned down.

Remove the wheel studs on the rotor/hub assembly and take it to a machine shop and have the hub boss cut down to fit the wheel hole. Thats what I did, and it worked great. Cost 10.00 per hub.

Also, I had very minimal caliper rub, so I took a grinder and took a bit off the caliper where it rubbed. I wouldn't advise going very deep, I just took a VERY small amount off.

Oh, by the way, I was getting Styled Steel Wheels to fit the granada swap on my sons 66. I have recently done the granada swap on a 65 Ranchero, and am doing the same thing with the wheels because I am putting Styled Steel Wheels on the Ranchero.

:nice:
