What did you do during the great Government shutdown of 2025? Well, work on my car naturally.

It's either clean my house again, or work on the car. Not a tough choice.

It's either work (since my job isn't dependent on the US gubmint), sleep, or keep settling into the new place. Still lots of stuff to take care of....

If it weren't for that, it'd probably be projects. I definitely have enough parts to keep me busy.

Well, it kinda is.

@MustangIIMatt Here's part of the "pile" I have so far. It's missing the T5 rebuild kit, 30# fuel injectors, mass air meter since it's still under the hood and in progress since however long ago, and the new 3 piece headlights for the same reason - but I have all of that somewhere.

I figured I'd post a pic of it all for and giggles.

Edit: I forgot about the X pipe - it's not shown either. And I DID order 1-5/8" shorty headers that are scheduled to arrive today.

The pile o'parts has grown since that post/pic, and I'd love to get something done on one of them, just too much stuff going on. The shutdown isn't affecting me in the way it is other people though, so it's not exactly related to that.

You [do] know that when you hit that little up-arrow in the quote that it took me back to um....

Yep, forever ago. Still the same pile, just relocated and in a bigger pile, just sharing the pile to show the relation.

I continue to go to work and drive my kids to their sports, it's basically ALL I do these days. That said I think I'll have time to work on getting the steering rack finished up in the Cobra today, or tomorrow anyway, I have to check the sports calendar first.
