Grinding noise on acceleration

So I've got a 1994 GT Everytime I get on it I hear the almost grind noise coming from the transmission area. It shift fine and when I take off slowly I do t hear the sound. I just had the motor mounts and the trans mount replaced and that didn't fix it. Any other ideas? The clutch still has grip and everything BTW.

Should have lasted longer. Decided on this kit to get more miles out of her this time. emailed opt and they recommended a pretty good list of parts. Shift kit, plate, servo. All put together, it works amazing now. Would definitely recommend this kit.

Hard to diagnose noises like that without hearing it in person. Are you sure it's not coming from the rear axle area?

I had some else tell me to check the driveshaft bolts, so I'm going to give that a look.

Mine did that some years ago, it was a grinding / whining. Turned out that ATF in a manual transmission actually needs to be changed every 20 years or so. I also had a u-joint go dry and seize up pretty good, that gave me some shudder and some noise too.
