So, i have been messing with my mid pipe(switching between X and PC), and appearently, when I put back PC on, entire pipes when out of aligment I guess, because now it drags. So i jack the car up by the pumpkin today to adjust them so that it won't drag anymore.

So i jucked car up, and in the hast, i didn't position the floor jack right and it moved! now my rear deff cover is messed up:bang::fuss:!!!!!
Its not leaking or anything, but I messed up edge of it....
So i had to order new cover for $48:nonono:

and worst part is, i never got to fix my exhaust, and it still drags...

not having good day today..

Never jack on the pumpkin...

The rear axle is not perfectly straight. To allow the rear end to track correctly, there is about a 1 degree negative camber built into the rear axle. Basically what that means is that instead of axle being parallel with the ground, the differential is a little lower than the center line and the the top of the wheels tilt slightly towards the vehicle.
If you lift the vehicle from the differential, you are putting stress on both left and right axle housings where they meet the differential, at the same time. They were not designed to perform in this manner. Although you may not break anything, you do not want to stress this area or slightly tweak it and remove or reduce this 1 degree negative camber.

I've read that befor. So then where do I jack up the rear of car so that both wheel is ff of ground ??

Oh and Since i'm going to need to refill rear end when I change cover, what kind of fluid should I use? is ther somethng I can buy at local auto store that have friction modifier in it?
