gt-40 head info

What is the big deal about gt-40 heads. I am wanting to put new heads on my 5.0. I was trying to figure out the best bang for the buck. Do you guys have any suggestions for where i should buy some from. I asked a couple of people and they talked up the gt-40 heads. I would just like a couple of thoughts on them . Thanks

they are a big deal for people on extreme budgets, nothing miraculous imo. Do the autozone swap scam, give them your heads for the core charge and get new 40's for about 400 if I remember

they are a good budget head. they are iron heads with a little bigger valve and flow better than e7s, its like a 20 horse bolt on..... with a good cam and intake it performs pretty well.
