GT-40 intake. 24 lbs. Will these valve covers fit? Any issues? HELP

Hey guys, right now i've got my engine torn apart and i'm putting in a Fluidyne radiator, FRPP raidator hose kit, Black Magic Xtreme electric fan, Power steering pump, serpentine belt, and 6G alt. uprgrade. Now i want some more power.

GT-40 Intake
FRPP 24 lb injects
70mm TB
EGR Spacer
73mm MAF Meter
Valve Covers
Gaskets


How much is that good for hp wise?

And say if i buy the GT-40 intake off ebay, is there anything else i'm gonna need for the install?(Besides gaskets)?

And i'm gonna start painting some brackets on the engine and i'm gonna repaint the intake when i get it. What paint do you guys rec? I would like a nice shiny silver. Thanks

Also will these valve covers fit with my stock heads? Eventually i'm gonna put GT-40 heads on also with a Kenne bell supercharger? Will those valve covers fit? Will they clear the GT-40 intake or the Kenne bell?

i used high temp aluminum colored paint and high temp clear coat from autozone to paint my cobra intake. turned out great! nice, glossy silver color, especially with the clear. those valve covers will clear. i believe they're factory height.

Do you have any pictures of what you painted? I'd like to see how it turned out. All my engine brackets and stuff looks like ****. And its only got 80K on it and always garaged. Doesn't make sense lol. You think the covers will clear and everything? Thanks

yeah i do. i'm actually going to post a thread about my rebuild with tons of pics later tonight. they'll be in there. i'd post pics right now but i'm at work and don't have my camera with me. haha it actually looks out of place in my engine compartment because it's the only thing i painted and is the only thing that looks clean/good. the rest is all dirty as hell! and yeah like i said, those valve covers are factory height. they'll clear with your current heads and when you get the gt40 heads.
