GT or V6......what do you think?

my friends, friend recently got this car and i cant decide if its a gt or not. she says it has 250hp but its a v6 i havent seen it in person yet to look at it closer.

It has V6 rims but without seeing under the hood there is no telling. But why would anyone put V6 rims on a GT? So I will go ahead and assume that it is a V6.

functional shaker hood and a GT bumper. It could have a v8 in it, but it looks liek V6 trim

Its a V6 that someone has made to look like a Mach 1. Its possible it could have 260 hp if they've done some work to it.
It does have a GT rear bumbper cover as well. A picture of the engine is in order here!

well it has the pony on the fender, the V6 stripes on the doors and the V6 wheels = V6.

I imagine its just a glorified V6. Not a bad looking one though. First time Ive seen the shaker hood cover painted to match.
It has the pony emblems, the premium V6 16" rims, non-GT side scoops, and it has V6 on the honeycomb panel on the rear. I don't think your gonna fool anyone with that badge if it was actually a GT.

Has many V8 features (foglights, shaker, dual exhaust), but I question the pony logo on the front fender. The rims, well, some 99 and 2000 V8 stangs came with those stock 16 inch rims as a standard feature. The 17 inch rims were optional. So who knows. Look under the hood, or read how fast the speedometer goes, how it sounds, etc.

Damn that thing is a mix of everything!

GT exhaust, front/rear bumper,shaker hood

Then a v6 badge in the rear and the pony's on the fenders

I call on the GT. I think it's a good looking 190hp stang

I like it. the fact that it has all that yet someone was smart enough to put a v6 badge on it and not a gt badge. All that thing needs is some 95 cobra r's and some lowering springs, and you got one nice v6 DD

hypothetically what would have to be done to it to make around 250hp? the last owner is who gave her that number when he sold it which i think is

A supercharger.

although it is a dual exhaust...those pipes are quite small

if it IS a GT then its not a stock exhaust

but why would you go smaller?

its a 6 banger.
