GT really messed up, looking for help

Aight, i have a 1995 GT, i bought the car with a motor recently put in it, the eplained to me that the motor come out of a 1970's bronco, he stated that he had to rewire the fuel injectors to match the firing order of the cam (how many firing orders does ford have?) the cam is a flattappet can, when i am driving the car it starts missing when i am cruzing at 55 in 5th, when im starting off it sometimes misses, and sometimes dont, i just put new oxygen sensors in, i cannot figgure out why it is missing, maybey its the cam, or the firing order of the cam isnt working with the computer.. any ideas? it wasnt my idea to do that, it was like that the way i bought it, the plug's and wires are new, so is the distributar and cap, and it is in time

Really should have changed the computer, not the way the injectors fired. I would try and find a different cam with the stock firing order.

Go on ebay, buy a new injector harness.

Then REMOVE that engine and buy a 87-95 5.0 EFI engine.

Check to see how well of a splice job they did on the harness. You may have a bad connection to one of the injectors. Butt connectors are evil.
