Gt40 (3 Bar) And Gt40 Intake Install Cost?

The consensus is in! I am going to save up and buy a top end kit from LMR (sell the carb intake) and do it right. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to help me out on here, you guys are freaking awesome!
I think you left out the part where you were going to use a carb, that would have been a major mistake.

Mike is right, if you are using a kit, go with the trick flow.
You'll need a 155 pump, 24lb injectors, 65mm or bigger throttle body and spacer and a pro M 75mm (or bigger) 24lb meter.
Also a ford racing stock replacement water pump.

It's going to add up. But it's also going to come in 60rwhp higher than just swapping gt40 iron heads on to the car.
The iron heads would have had effect no had you lined up against anything with an LS or tuned ecoboost.

The iron heads would have been barely noticeable in power, the aluminum ones will be like you have an entirely different car.

4, not that it is any of your business.

If you built ten as you claim, lol, you wouldn’t be suggesting a costly piece of junk like the gt40s over forced induction. Especially for someone looking at over a grand in labor haha.

Opinions and … right ragtop
You guys need to settle down!! :rlaugh:

A used Strim, fuel pump, meter, injectors, tune or a top end kit... eitherway it'll be a hell of an improvement over what you have. With the top end you'll be able to get away without a tune and blown head gaskets but having boost and the ability to raise the boost is fun. You could always do which ever you pass on at a later point as well

If you were to go the vortech route on a stock engine i'd plan for 6-8lbs, anything more and it won't be if you blow out your gaskets including the head gaskets, it will be when...
