Spend the extra $500 and go with the trick flow kit, not the SVE kit

The consensus is in! I am going to save up and buy a top end kit from LMR (sell the carb intake) and do it right. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to help me out on here, you guys are freaking awesome!

I think you left out the part where you were going to use a carb, that would have been a major mistake.

Mike is right, if you are using a kit, go with the trick flow.
You'll need a 155 pump, 24lb injectors, 65mm or bigger throttle body and spacer and a pro M 75mm (or bigger) 24lb meter.
Also a ford racing stock replacement water pump.

It's going to add up. But it's also going to come in 60rwhp higher than just swapping gt40 iron heads on to the car.
The iron heads would have had effect no had you lined up against anything with an LS or tuned ecoboost.

The iron heads would have been barely noticeable in power, the aluminum ones will be like you have an entirely different car.

Or he could do the top end, save up some more money and add a blower later on?

Yea, for roughly the same cost which would give more power smart guy?

Or he could do exactly like what I posted

And you've owned how many of these cars? Don't mess up his thread. I simply posted my thoughts as I have built no less than ten of these in twenty one years.

Go's to credibility, so far you have only chose to comment negatively when someone makes a suggestion, and then post a statement like you want to get into a war of words.
Are you here for the betterment of stangnet and its members or just try'n to agitate someone?

Personally I would do the top end kit, however 15psi will make even a stock 5.0 beastly. The HCI swap will freshen things up and the block won't have the extra stress of boost.

I like boost.

Absolutely, it will be a 2100cc engine with dual port heads custom intake manifold and a to3e turbo. About 6psi for normal driving and a custom Steve's turn tune with
14psi. Powered by an ms3x with 30lb injectors and LS coils. Flame thrower 2 step for merging into traffic.

Yea, shop progress! Call me if you need help spreading that dirt around, I'll send my neighbor over.

Now back to your regularly scheduled gt40 head swap.

4, not that it is any of your business.

If you built ten as you claim, lol, you wouldn’t be suggesting a costly piece of junk like the gt40s over forced induction. Especially for someone looking at over a grand in labor haha.

A used Strim, fuel pump, meter, injectors, tune or a top end kit... eitherway it'll be a hell of an improvement over what you have. With the top end you'll be able to get away without a tune and blown head gaskets but having boost and the ability to raise the boost is fun. You could always do which ever you pass on at a later point as well

If you were to go the vortech route on a stock engine i'd plan for 6-8lbs, anything more and it won't be if you blow out your gaskets including the head gaskets, it will be when...
