does anyone have pictures of how they mounted the ACT on a 2nd gen "non bossed" lower intake? I know the runner area is gunna be to thin to drill and tap correctly so im looking for some suggestions. i was thinking about building up the area with some JB weld and the drilling and tapping it. option B is to move the ACT and i was thinking about moving it into the EGR block since my EGR is gone now.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I moved mine to the air intake tube, but the EGR block is a great place too.

I have seen it mounted on the underside of the upper intake. Its been a while since I looked but I think they removed the vac tube on the front side and tapped it for 3/8 npt

I have a F8 lower on my car, I had it drilled and tapped and there was PLENTY of meat there for it. took it to my machine shop, cost me 10 bucks.

There are two f8 lowers. The -ba has a boss there, while the -bb does not. Did you have the bb lower?
