Gt40 head and Eddy RPM intake combo?

I was wondering if some non P gt40 heads would work alright with a Edelbrock RPM intake (not the rpm II.) Not sure if the intake would be too much for the heads or not. If I could run mid-high 12s with those heads and intake, a good cam that doesn't require flycutting of the pistons, 3.73 gears, your other bolt ons, and some basic traction mods like subframes, control arms, and tires. Would this be a good, feasible combo? Or would I be a hell of a lot better off buying some aluminum heads?

Sure, but you better have the gear in first...........

The intake is not too much for the heads and sound like a good combo to get you into the 12's.

Thanks. I was planning on subframes and gears, and while I'm doing that shop around for some good gt40s. I figure I might score a decent deal on some parts while I'm focusing on others, so having a good list of what I need/want may help. What kind of cam would you guys run? I can sacrifice some streetability but it still needs decent vacuum. I shouldn't be daily driving the car for a whole lot longer anyways.
