And that's a big "if", he was out for 90% the season last year I believe....I think espn said he was injured 13 out of 15 games....Heck of a way to collect a pay check there on the bench
Hopefully the Phins come out running on all 8 tonight. The way the Saints "D" looked it could be a long season.
Giants played like chit. They have to get that new oline working well & get Tuck & Osi on the field.

Anyone ready to write off Tony Romo yet? Why does this guy keep getting break after break after break. He cannot manage a game, he makes very poor decisions yet he is still held on a pedestal. He is in his 5th year starting now and he is still making the mistakes of a first year QB. He never makes the right decision at critical times. Dallas cut all kinds of players in the off season, except for the one guy the really needed to get rid of.
And how about those patriots Pretty impressive first showing. Id like to see the defense tighten up a little bit more but overall the whole team played quite well. 500+ Passing yards for brady, thats just insane guess he is showing his dominance early this year. 517 yards and 4 TD, wow.... Well dont worry Giants fans, Eli will have those same stats as well..........by week 5

They changed the way they rank the QB's now. Its done now as not to reflect stat padding, or at least not reward the QB's as much that have their stats built up over a game that is not as meaningful. Like if a team wins 38-3 and the QB throws for 400 + yards it does not have as much bearing as the QB that wins a game on the final drive 20-17 but has 299 yards passing.
Not counting INT's and completion % the QB that threw for 299 but won the game would get a better QBR then the one who threw for a lot more yards but in a game that was not as hard. At least thats the way it was explained on Mike and Mike on ESPN. But its still confusing b/c fitzpatrick came in 1st and they blew out KC.

lots of surpises in week 1 for me i expected defenses to really have the edge with the lack of training camps during the off season but to my surprise there was a lot of really high scoring games.

A lot of more examples out there but you get my point. All I'm really saying is the Eagles can expect a bunch of Fail this season.
