GT40p heads what vehicles

O.K. guys I am on the hunt in salvage yards for some GT40 heads for my 89LX. I guess what I need to know is what to look for. What years and what vehicles came stock with these heads and how to tell if they are reall GT40 heads or not.

GT40 P heads have 4 bars cast into the end of the head below the rocker cover. They also have GTP cast into the rocker arm area.

O.K. does anyone know what vehicles and years these cam stock on. I am going to try to find some in a salvage yard.

explorers after april in 97 had gt40 p heads all the way till they stopped production of the 302 in 2000 or so. they say gt40p under the valve covers and you can spot p heads because of the wierd sparkplug angle.

97-2000 v8 explorers had them, i think they had 4 vertical bars casted into the end of the head.
