Don't forget that unless you get the Cobra GT40s you will have a larger combustion chamber and lower compression unless you have the heads milled. Also, the non-Cobra GT40s are not drilled for the thermactor system although the internal ports are cast in.

the lower compression won't be enough to effect anything. my bro has a gt40 explorer motor with a tfs1 and mine a gt40p explorer motor, and his makes some serious power
