Just wondering how much differnece you feel at idle with the poly mounts? I haven't really driven my car alot since I put the energy suspension motor mounts and tranny mount on, but I have been trying to figure out why my idle doesn't feel as smooth as it used to. The car has just had a full tune-up including fuel filter pcv valve and all of the ignition parts. I know the 5.0 isn't the smoothest running engine in the world so I am just wondering if it is the result of the stiffer mounts.

I have the mounts. I didn't notice much difference at idle. You can feel the engine a little bit but its not bad. My old mounts were both broken so that might be why I didn't feel any diff.

You feel the engine more, but not too much more.

Does the engine idle steady and sound smooth? Well, it it does then it is probally fine.

Yes, you'll feel it more than stock mounts but not much. The biggest problem I had was they squeeked at idle! I'm on my second set and they squeeked. The solution for squeeking is to use trailer bearing waterproof grease mine is blue colored and shoot it around inside the mount clamshell as best you can with a grease gun and needle. Mine don't squeek anymore However it took a few days for the grease to work into the mounts.

Oh Yeah, DO NOT USE SILICONE SPRAY as it ate my first set, it turns the polyurethane into mush! Summit replaced them under warranty gotta love that.

0 problems, feels like stock at idle, you can feel the engine on accel., which can be cool if it's balanced well Good upgrade if you're old mounts are bad.

Fit was perfect. Make sure you also get a tranny mount.
