Guys with gauges under their radios....in here

I want them down low because I want to keep the "normal car" look and get away from the "boy-racer" look. My tastes have changes...now looking into an interior with gauges everywhere doesn't look that appealing to me really anymore. I had them on the a-pillar and now want them down below the radio so they are still there and readable...but not blatently obvious to anyone pulling up alongside me. I'm just not a fan of the 5" tach on the dash look with 3 gauges and a clock on the a-pillar like I was a few years ago.

im telling you florida 5.0 6 gauge cluster man looks stock and you still get all your **** you need

the the radio is an uber pita to put a cd or even push a button it, its bad enough when you go to put a disc in and its just barely above the shifter.

I have no problems with mine using the CD player. As for fitting the radio in there I believe I just raised the whole panel up 1/8" higher and the radio fit fine, I also was not going to cut up my new carpet.

Why tuck the most important gauges under the least important accessories....HVAC and Radio :shrug:

Looks really nice but just not practical, do you see race cars with their oil pressure gauge tucked away under the foldout 7" touch screen that casts a glare on your most important gauges? Kinda like adding an a/f gauge without a wideband sensor :nono: .... Sorry just my .02
I will get off my high horse..hahaha

:hide: -as i hide under my chair :-)

You saw the pic below this one, right? Gauges in place of the HVAC panel, up high and easily visible.

The black panel is practical enough, imo. People have been running this type of setup for years. However, your opinion is respected.
