I am really thinking about putting a set of prostars on my car. First, what backspacing would i need with like the 10" wide wheel for the rears... Or what sizes did you use?

Also what all do i need for the fronts? Longer studs or what? I drive my car all the time. So should i get like 4" fronts or bigger? If i go bigger what size of tire do i need? to make it look right...

Also does anybody have any experence with the MT Sportsman tires?

I love the idea of the lightness of these but i really don't want to loose my handling either... Its frustrating, you gain one place and loose another.

you'd lose too much traction i would think, that's why i'm not considering it anymore for my dd. besides they aren't even chrome but polished.

there is a thread going on right now with the same topic.

oh but those look good i think... If there was something i could do for the front tires though.. I don't think skinnies would be a very good for daily driving..

you don't HAVE to get the skinnies, but i think that's part of the point of getting welds. they sell all different widths of front tires.

well it's the same outside diameter so not really. I'd think (to an unknowing/untrained eye) that the 3.5" skinnies would look way weirder than an 8" front weld wheel... but then there would be no point in buying welds, unless you like their look
