I didnt see the (what cars i should stay away from) part of that post. If a C4 corvette walks me at the track after this im going to sell my car and start riding a bike. I beat those before the H/C/I so id be going slower lol.... Its all about the driver. So many people go to the track and say yeah i did this and that to my car and it should run (XX.XXX) and then it runs 2-3 seconds slower. I've had it happen to me. You put D/R's on your car and you still slip because you dont know how long to burn out or you dont have the right tire pressure for your car to hook. My favorite was putting rear end gears in and basically had to learn how to drive again. I put alot of seat time in this car and i know that you can throw a whole lot of money into things that wont do anything if you dont know what you are doing. All of your help has been great, I first wanted to get the 185's but now I like the idea of the 165's. If i can turn good numbers at the track with this set up then B/A! I used to drive a Ford Escort Station Wagon, I had fun with that and It held its own against the fart can civics. But going from basically still stock mustang to this set up would be safe and logical. Im 21 and i have plenty of time to build a crazy car but for now this will be an awesome second car. Thanks again for your guys time. I love the track
