Well....I got the Patriot Stage II heads with titanium retainers, .600 springs, and stainless steel valves, VT Stage II cams, and the HPS lower intake......I only had enough time to get the idle straight and adjust mid and top A/F's.....I got the work done at THR in El Paso.......On the mustang dyno it put down 293 and 302 through the auto....without playing with the timing at all.....it is set to 26 deg.........with more time we could have gotten it over 300 there.....well I am now back in SC......and getting ready for Pro-Dyno to tune and set it up........the car pulls really hard and doesn't even dip off at 6200......I will have him overlap my last tune with the stock long block with the H/C/I combo to see the results........also my buddies car is getting tuned also and has the same set up with the stock pi intake.....this way we can all get a comparison with the HPS to PI...........It should be done by next weekend....

Any guesses on the new #'s.....???

VERY NICE!

I had the head and cam setup b efore my 4 valve and to tell ya the truth I think me choosing patriots cams were my downfall. the heads performed GREAT, but I think the cams were not making the power I should have seen.

I was at 292 on a 5 speed. shoulda went VT

LOL....actually I am staying N/A.....The car has a little more than just engine work and want to get into the 11's N/A with full rims and MT Drag radials.......I already pulled a Z06 on the freeway from 60 to 110! With a race weight of 3150 with me in it this car is mean....don't get me wrong....I love forced induction....just wanted to try a different route! Besides there isn't a hole lot of N/A cars out there that can pull or whoop a FI car!

Nice numbers... What cam would you or other people go with if they were not going to be replacing heads. Just a little bump in HP and that beautiful sound.

Well....I am taking her to my tuner tomorrow........fix all the drivability issues, adjust the shift points and put down some solid numbers........at WOT the car is just scary fast now.....it pull like 2nd gear all the way to 6200 where I let off! The car is really lumpy right now throughout the power band but hopefully the tune will fix it...! I will post the numbers up with the before and after dyno graph in STD and SAE for comparison! Just did the first oil change with Royal Purple 5W20 and checked all the plugs......set at .50........what are some of you other VT II cams guys setting your Gap at??
