h/c/i swap block?

i'm doing a trick flow street h/c/i swap on 94 GT vert with 55k.
Should anything be done to the bottom end while i've got it torn down? What upgrades to bottom end to make it better? I've been told to replace seals, have it honed, when i checked with a local ford mechanic with a good reputation, he gave me a price between 700-$1000.

If its running good, you don't need to pull the entire engine and machine/rebuild it. If it needs to be rebuilt, might as well do it right and add a stroker kit like a 342/347. But no, just throw your h/c/i on, tune it and enjoy :)
