I can't get the hangers on the H pipe to reach the tranny mounts. Do i need to lower the tranny? I would like not to bend anything for a good fit.

Maybe taking the driveshaft out would give me the clearance?

I would try taking the driveshaft out first. Don't be afraid to bend the mounts on the pipe. Most aftermarket items don't first 100% and generally require a small amount of finess or mods to fit correctly.

put the car on a lift and you can fit it with no problems, mine did the same thing and would drag in some spots because the hangers were'nt fitting right. when i put it on a lift they slid right in

I have the rear axle on stands and the front on stands at the frame. If I put the rear on the frame the rear axle will drop causing the driveshaft to as well. then the pipe will still hit the drive shaft.

Got the h pipe on the tranny mounts but now it needs to go forward 1/2 inch. I have to grind away a little chunk from the exhaust tranny mounts to get it. should take me another week or so!!!!!

man, i haven't used the exhaust mounts at the crossmember on any of the stangs i've ever owned with no problems what so ever. and it makes it easier to install/remove it later.

Ditto...
I cut those suckers off the H-pipe and removed the hanger over 5 years ago.
