h pipe

I ran an O/R prochamber with magnapacks. At idle and lower RPMs it was deep. At part and full throttle it would trumpet and was raspy at certain RPMS. You would have thought that this set-up would have been deep, but like COBESGT stated o/r midpipes sound raspy. I added hi-flow cats to the set-up and that got rid of the raspiness and trumpeting. I think the key is catted midpipe along with the right axlebacks.

You could do like I did and install some resonators with the O/R H. I really love the way that my car sounds and get compliments all the time. But, I did all the work (cutting/welding/installing) myself, so that saved me some money and trips back and fourth to a shop.

yours sounds good but i want a little louder nice car by the way

Thanks! And yeah, that volume was good for me for a while, but when I switched to MAC axles back w/ my setup it was too loud... and then we tryed Flowmasters..same thing, too loud and horrible drone at "normal" highway speeds... The Magnaflow mufflers (not the smaller resonator looking ones) the larger full size mufflers sounded the best IMHO w/ MY SETUP but every car is different depending on what you have!! Now I have the same BBK equal length tuned shorties (i wish I had just done longtubes from the start...next year..lol) off-road x-pipe w/ resonators and a custom axle back setup with stainless steel 2 1/2" in - out mufflers, this setup sounds really good, and it is not restrictive, as all I essentially have is 4 resonators becasue i can see straight thru both sets, but there is no DEATH DRONE!!
