Well if you followed any of THIS thread you'll know that I wasnt happy with the drop my Eibach Pro Kit gave me.. I believe this to be a combination of not enough drop and a low profile tire on the car.

It still looked visually like a 4x4. (More Pix of the Eibach Pro Kit can be found in the above linked thread) With the eibach pro kit the car still felt a little mushy, but was still better when it came to cornering than the stock springs, but not by much... the suspension had less travel/dive/squat than stock and even though the drop was only about an 1 in the front (Even after settling, so i did not get the advertised drop), i still bottomed out on speed bumps if i took them at a reasonable rate, which to me was a little slower than how i took them stock. the ride still felt like it had too much "travel" to it for me... I had a shop put the eibach's on, and there was question as to whether or not the springs were sitting in the a-arm correctly in the front.. after i took the suspension apart in the front and looked at the springs before taking them out, YES they were sitting in there correctly.

My thoughts on installing the springs:
So i opted for the H&R SS springs, which advertise 2" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. I had a shop put on the eibach's on but this time i tackled the install myself, which honestly was my first time doing any of this kind of stuff... It took a bit longer than i expected, but now that it has been done, i can honestly say that if i ever help a mustang buddy out in the future to do the install, we could probably knock it out in about 4 hours or so... It took my much longer due to my idiocy when it came to basic mechanical skills, searching for tools, and basically doing it by myself. Installing the new springs was not easy but it was fun, it just takes time and patience and a buddy. (I would say it would be easy now, having done it once, and could do it again easily). Just have "gofer" buddy to gofer tools while you're sitting down and patience and a good attitude, its all pretty straight forward. I followed the directions from spreadman here on stangnet, also mustanworld's directions and a vogtland springs install directions for reference pix from yellow mustang registry. THanks to all you guys for the good directions. BTW, I unbolted the shock in the fronts from the a arm instead of under the hood, as i had the shop install caster and camber plates from steeda when they installed the eibach's, and they must've used an air wrench with a lot of torque on it cause i COULD NOT get that huge nut off, even with a breaker bar.
H&R Super Sports:
Once the springs were finally on, you could tell automatically that the car was sitting MUCH lower in the front, but upon measuring it, it was actually only about 1.75" in the front and 1.5" in the rear... Thats how much 75" will do for you visually. the car has settled and is now sitting 2" lower in the front and 1.6" or so in the rear and has a nice rake to it. As far as ride quality goes.. Stiffer than stock, of course, and but not a whole lot stiffer than the eibach's for the amount of drop that it gave me. i was kinda expecting it to be teeth jarring, but its not bad at all, and i can carve a corner now and its on rails!!!! Going over speed bumps i dont scrape any more than i did with the eibach's. The whole suspension feels "tighter" than the eibach's, so when i go over that speed bump, the car seems to not "dip" down as much as with the eibach's. Ride quality is acceptable for a daily driver for me. This is with the stock shocks/struts.. I will monitor the ride quality over the next 6-12 months to see if it gets worse.
