How are the H&Rs with weight transfer...Are they as bad as sportlines...I want a spring that will lower the car but not effect my take off time that much.

No real way of getting around it unless you get the drag springs. Although having adjustable control arms and lowering the ride height in the rear helps as well as removing the front sway bar once at the track.

Otherwise, you'll have a decent handling car in the turns with the H&R just suffer a tad in a straight line launch because of the lack of wieght transfer.

Fox body springs are exactly what you are looking for. Get 4cyl in front and 8cyl in back. It should lower your car about 2 inches and is better for weight transfer than stock.

I bought mine used so they were extra soft. If you want to buy used I got mine in the www.corral.net classifieds for $100 for all 4. If you want to buy brand new Autozone carries them. Should be around $140 for all 4 new. Make sure you get 4cyl Fox Body front springs and 8cyl Fox body rear springs. This should drop about 2 inches in front and 1.5 in back. Also will improve 60ft times.

Dang, $140 is nice.

How does the handling with the stock springs vs fox body springs compare in a turn?

Handling is not as good as stock. But not much worse at all. Unless you like to take really hard sharp turns you wont notice much of a difference. But when you put the gas down you will sure notice your front end come up!

With all the people I have talked to with fox springs its hit or miss. Some need them and some don't. I'm installing mine in a week or so, so I will let everyone know how that goes and if I need plates or not.
