haha crap.....i think im starting to grow up

I guess i still have the "Peter Pan" syndrome. I just wanna go fast. I have always been a fan of sleepers, but I have done the stripped out deal. For me, it's not about growing up, it's about resale value. And I love blasting Van Halen as I bang the gears. It's like the good old days all over again.

This is why at 37yrs old I have my 95 to play with, and my focus to drive back and forth in. Not to mention the 03 GT we have I can toy with a bit, and the 86 coupe sitting in my garage waiting on my 15 yr old son to get a job so he can pay for me to rebuild it for him. LOL....

That's me too. My Cobra runs 12's at 116MPH, Hack Job runs 14.2 @99MPH, and my black notch I haven't even been to the track with.

Of course I could make them all faster, or one really really really fast, but that chit doesn't matter to me anymore. I have had my fair share of street races, and I have been down the drag strip 100's of times. I'm content. I just want a car that looks outstanding, runs outstanding, that I can take to Florida, Cali, Texas, or anywhere else with no problems.

This one guy I know, took out $10,000 in loans to build a motor. After 3 runs at the track, it broke, he did something wrong, he then got the car impounded for street racing, he then got it keyed by his girl. Had it repainted, spent 3K on a new trans, blew it up the first night streeet racing. Lost his license, then when he sold the roller for 3K, he had 30,000 dollars in loans!!!!!!!! Sure it ran low low 10's a couple times, but NO THANKS!!!!!
