Rich(12sec67) and I scrambled to get it running before when headed to the track. We finally got everything sealed up and ready to pass tech.
Best I could muster was a 9.3 @ 53 and the best 60 was 1.9.
I went there with intentions of just testing the primaries to see what AFR's were where. Primaries seem to do OK. But the second I tip into, it stumbles over itself. So basically the times are half throttle, and backing off a few times. She leaves HARD, and at 2psi or so. I got two passes in. the second time I raised the floats, tightened up the pump, and stuck in a bigger squirter. Not exactly right, but I want to know if it is lean. Which I am sure. Problem is, with the 4.11's, gears don't last very long at all. so the second time around I dip into the secondaries, and it felt great. POOOOF, and of course a little white smoke. I make the turn for the return lanes and figure it was going to happen anyways.HG ? get back to the pits and the car dies. What is weird is the LM-1 is reading 20-1. I hear a hiss after I start the car up, because we check the coolant and oil and all seems fine. I try to bump it over to make sure the cylinder aren't hydrolocked, and it fires. I jump out and to my relief, find I split the supra PCV in two. I click it back together and all is well.
I have never been in a fast turbo car, only a stock supra. At half throttle, maybe 60%, this thing feels like the 100 shot at WOT. And quite honestly, it scares the piss outta me. I would hate to be in Paul's car. No thank you.
On a side note, I did feel like an attention whore. It was like I brought a Lambo to prom or something. Everyone was looking at my car. And after all the work, I feel good about it and loved every minute.:D
Thanx Rich, for the help

Those two things are what count the most. :nice

The only thing that gets more attention than a fast Mustang is a turbo Mustang!

1/8" is assume?

me too. my car's just sitting in the garage.
i'm glad you got your car out and are enjoying it. i haven't even touched mine in over a month.

Why is yours sitting ? I lost reverse in my car later that night after the track.
I need to make a few changes here and there. The 2.75's are in now. Which caused two more leaks now. That brings the grand total of 5, count 'em five things leaking. And the one I counted, the tranny, is leaking in more than one spot. It's driving me crazy. Fix one thing and two more pop up I swear to god. Alternator is still struggling to charge.:bang: Mine is aboput ready to sit a while too.

how the heck are you supposed to run with 2.75's?
Turbos like the load on the motor. It is possible for the motor to outrun the boost, since it's not directly connected to the crank. I'll end up going with 3.25's or so. But the gears go way too fast with the 4.11's to get an accurate reading on the AFR's.

you'll see on the TT t-bird build, this guy went faster by like 5 MPH and a few tenths by switching from 3.08 to 2.73's. And he still pulled 1.6 60's.:jaw:
My disclaimer: Will not be responsible if you enter that site and want a turbo. This is the link that Brianj5600 sent me that made me want one.

Yeah, that's for the kit, and it comes with forty sizes you don't need. I was going to order blanks and drill them out. ( buy from summit) But I talked to the guy there i alsways talk to and he knows his "S''. He said to solder up the air bleeds and drill them out. That's extremely nice considering solder will be easier than brass to drill thru. It will cost about 27 from summit including shipping for one set of bleeds. And that is if you are right on the first guess. I just spent 37 bucks on hand drill bits that go from 13.5 thou to 39 thou. PERFECT.
