You heard it right folks, time for another one!! We had 14+ people last time, lets fill it up this time. I have two 26" TV's and one box myself. My buddies have another 2-3 boxes and 1-2 26" TV's. Cabling is all taken care of.

We MAY need a few extra boxes and TV's if the turn out is over 16, that will also let us do more than just halo in case people are interested in that...

Chime in and let me know if you are going to come..

Monday, Sept 6th (labor day) probably start around 10am til????

How the heck are you guys playing with multiple people on 26" TVs? When i have people over we use one 43" (four players), one 27" (two players), and one 24" (two players). Since there's a 4-Xbox limit, i can't imagine playing on that setup with more than 4 people at a time???

Well it is official, Monday Sept 6th, 10am start.

It has been a while, so lets make this a big gathering.. if it looks like there will be many people, then I will work on getting more than 4 boxes so we can have multiple games going at once. I got PLENTY of space and cabling in the house...

Taking ideas for food, I am thinking good ol'e Pizza is best, maybe each person pitch in a few bucks or maybe some people bring refreshements, etc.. Lets see our interest level though before we cross that hurddle..

Coming down to our last chances to play before H2 in Nov!!! (Yes I am taking Nov 10th off just to play H2 ALL DAY!!)

I would go, but I have never really played Halo and I am not good at those 1st person shooter games!! Also, with the Mustang being down, it's a little hard to hang out with other Mustang guys. I'm going to have to go find a Jeep group to hang with...lol

i wish i could have this day for some halo. im pretty sure my social coordinator has different ideas since we dont get the same day off from work very often.

Yeah, those darn social coordinators mess everything up...I just give mine a couple dollars and tell her to go see a girlie movie with her friends and it always works!!!

Once a month some friends from work and I have a "gameday". We've tired linking diffrent games with up to 6+ Xbox's and as many TV's. We allways go back to Halo. Did you know you can get a set up from FRY's that allows you to hook your Xbox to your computer monitor!

Nov 9, 2004. We have 10 people already signed up for Halo 2 day. A friend has a professional 10gig 20 port switch. It's going to be mayhem. No matter how much you play it Halo is always fun.

Gearjammer. You might want to move that day one day back to be safe.

I am getting conflicting reports, The last I got was it is RELEASED on the 9th, but that is when it ships from MS, not when it hits stores and can be picked up. They of course will do the midnight open I am sure, but just wanted you to know I am hearing conflisting reports, even from the same company.. We bumped our day back to the 10th just to be safe.

note to self..

man, i just hope halo 2 comes out. someday. whenever. before i die. i paid for it in december of 2002 thinking it would be out soon. lol. still got my little slippy in the wallet to go pick it up. im planning to take a few days off when its released, so maybe i could hook up with yas? also a friend of mine is equal in skill with me, we whoop everyone we know. trust me, im not saying im the best, ive played much harder games than the get togethers with my circle.

has anyone else heard of the street date confliction? i dont want to have any doubt once the date rolls around.

I JUST went to the halo2 website, IN STORE date is listed as the 9th., so it ships the 8th or before.

YEHAA Gonna be REALLY tired at work on the 9th. Up all night after midnight release, then bring TV and box to work so can play with guys at work during lunch heh

Tuesdays seem to be a favorite "shelf" day for a lot of big games. I don't know why it wouldn't be a Friday when you can spend all weekend getting geeked out on a new game. EB's web sight shows H2 shipping 11/8/04.

Is everyone signed up or getting signed up for Xbox Live? If your on look for me. My tag is the same as my log in here. I spend alot of time with Project Gotham 2 and Rainbow Six 3.

Wow! I wish my son and I could make it. He is a great player. We are part of the beta test for Halo 2 and the next version is awesome.

We're pushing real hard at work and can't afford to miss a day even though it is a holiday.
