Hammer shifter, Yay -or- Nay?

I have been looking into getting some things to beef up my AOD. I know i want to go with a shift kit, but i know i will get this installed due to, i have someone to blame if something goes wrong with the VB. And also, anyone know anything about the B&M Hammer shifter? Hows the shift, and how does the ratchet action actually work? i am open for suggestions.

I have one, and I like it. BUT -- I also have a full manual vb, that means I HAVE to shift, and if I were to overshift it means changing gears when I don't want to.

Yes, the ratcheting works exactly as it is supposed to. Yes, it fits in place and looks better than anything else on the market. No, the overall fit and finish wasn't as nice as I wanted it to be.

Hope that helps...

I had one in my car, i took it out to simplify things since my car is stock and all.
But the way it works it has a lock on each gear, so you have to ratchet it into EACH gear, cant just hold a button and go where you want.

Works will with a nice Valve body.

I got mine sitting in the garage, i will sell it to you for 50$
