1st: My daughter is home and doing well now...follow up appointment tomorrow...

2nd: Re-adjusted the valves on Friday afternoon...started the car and it ran much much better...

Went to O'reily's bought the large dist cap adapter and cap and rotor and some cheapie 8mm wires.

It runs much better...not perfect, but much better.

I think the carb is the cause of what is left...

Hopefully will order my carb this week or next...

I did find that my stock air cleaner will not work, but wouldn't have used it with a 4bbl anyway...

I want the K&N Xtreme..any one recommend which base to get and size for 289 performer 289 intake, not sure which carb, and stock hood...

Great to hear about your daughter! We spent a week at Vanderbuilt with our son at 4 months of age. All turned out good, but a sick child is tough.
