Hard Missfire Problems!

standard bore 302, MSD ignition, GT40 heads, Vortech S1 supercharer with 8 lb pulley, Edelbrock intake, BBK 75mm throttle body, BBK shorty headers, Flowmaster pipes, i think e303 cam, 42# injectors, 255 T-Rex fuel pump

Tranny: t5, short shifter, 4.10 rear gears, King Cobra clutch

Suspension: BBK shocks, BBK 2" lowering springs, BBK sway bars

This is all on a 92 gt just got the car bought it with a hard missfire. It has msd btm and Boost retard control. I think that it could be as simple as a bad coil but just drove it home tonight and thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts.... I've never really messed with btm I'm fairly certain that is a spark issue and not a fuel problem. runs fine at idle but under load especially after 1st gear it acts like it looses all spark like it dies for a second. Maybe a computer issue??? Any thoughts would be great thanks for taking the time to read!

Hard Missfire Problems!

Sounds like Miss Fire needs to meet Mr. Fire. ;)
Seriously, I think you have an ignition problem especially if the tach needle jumps around as the engine misfires. You could try swapping your stock ignition back in place of the MSD. Remember the adage MSD = My Spark Died
