Hard to pushstart stang??

yep it is fine. If it is on your 93, the computer will sense that you are compression starting it and open the coil's dwell to help it catch.

Good luck.

well first you need to turn the key so the fuel pump kicks on then get the car moving a little then hop in put it in first and pop the clutch and smash the gas and it should turn right on.

Hmm, I do it a little differently. Depending upon rolling speed and gearing, i put it in 2nd or 3rd (second works pretty ubiquitously) with the clutch in. Once at speed, I let the clutch out pretty fast and as soon as it catches, I put the clutch back in. Then put it in neutral and drive normal. :)

That's how I'd do it; 3rd gear would be my choice. If you use too low a gear, the tires will just skid. Turn the key to the run position, put it into 3rd (holding clutch to floor) have some friends get you rolling at a pretty good clip, and just dump the clutch.

Well that is the difference - I dont have friends to help me and I can only get it rolling so fast by myself (hence second gear with 2.73's). :p :)

If I push a car myself its not going very fast at all and I have used 1st in that situation, 2nd if I can get a bit of a rolling start.

If its a Ford it "can" be fixed
If its a Mustang it "must" be fixed
