Harmonic Balencer Question?

I have a stupid question for you guys. I have underdrives and the HB is on the outside of the new crank pulley. Ok, it's been a few years since I put them on and my question is, My HB seems to be a little crooked and maybe loose. Should I completlt remove it and seal it back into place? Or could I just maybe tap her in a little w/ a hammer to straighten it up. It's not real loose but it is enough to cause a small vibration in the engine. Thanks, Jason.

If it comes apart it can do a lot of damage! Imagine the radiator, water pump, timing cover exploding from the impact of shrapnel. A $100 repair will become a nightmare! Either replace the harmonic or get it rebuilt by a knowledgeable rebuilder.

I don't think that this is a situation that you should cut corners.Remove and inspect it. If it's bad, get another one and save yourself a headache, and a possible long walk home.

buy some steeda pullies while your at it they arent they piggyback version and once you get them on there no more worries!
