Fuel Pressure needs to be monitored when driving. If you were sitting in the Driveway and reving it to see if the Fuel pressure will raise, you will be dis-appointed. It raises when the vacuum lowers. But thats a lengthy post to type as as to why it does what it does with no load.

Things to check:
1-PCV valve and line
2-PCV mesh filter below the PCV valve.
3-Throttle body to filler neck hose installed?

After the swap, did you drain the oil pan well and add new oil? Maybe you got water in the block from removing the intake.

Sounds like one or both intake gaskets may have slid down a little.

If this is a Chinese-made Cobra intake (does it say Ford Racing by the throttle body?) it is a known problem. They have a huge oil consumption problem if they don't have a special baffle installed. There have been numerous threads about it on both here and Corral. I was one of the first victims of this problem and have since swapped it out for a GT40.

Prob not.

When you installed the lower intake, did you just drop it on the block and bolt it down? Or did you screw in studs and use them to guide the lower intake down?

It could be coolant leaking into one of the engine cylinders from a bad seal on the gasket. It is bright white smoke? Or is it grey?

Well, if it's a coolant leak, it could be washing out the plug and preventing it from firing...so basically you are pumping out raw fuel.

Do you have a misfire at all? Or is the car running well?

I'd pull the plugs and take a visual for anything "odd"

Sounds like you didn't install the baffle or the mesh screen to the PCV valve. If it's not that then you didn't seal the intake to the heads very well. Torque to specs, overtorque and you'll split the gaskets and you might as well not have gaskets.

I'll bet that you find #4 and #8 to be oil fouled.

It's likely your intake gaskets.
