Has anybody got these rims on a fox yet?

The 17" S197 wheels fit fine if you use the SN95 brake setup with the 96+ spindle and Sn95 track in the rear.


With the 18's, the inside of the wheel hits the strut, so you will need a spacer but then it will stick past the fender lip

They just don't look like they're very at-home on a Fox. A lot of the '05+ wheels just seem a little bit too far-removed in styling from the Fox to really look quite right on 'em. Even some of the S197 rims are kinda iffy; Bullitts are usually a safe bet (that basic design has been around since the 60's), but a lot of the others like Mach 1's just look like something Matchbox would've put on one of their cars - too big, too shallow/convex-shaped, almost cartoonish. Just me, though...
