I'm talking about the hard tube assembly that runs from the front of the intake to the back to connect with the heater core.

Has anyone replaced it with fittings and longer hoses? Got any pics? How was the routing?

Thanks,
Rick

ya i took mine completely out and used some brass fittings from home depot to plug up the hole and move the sensor

my heater core is shot tho so there was no point in running lines to it.

if you wanted to just run soft lines instead of the hardlines you could cut down the length of the hardline and use long hoses

Well, I want to keep my heat, as I'm not as lucky as some of you southerners.... :(

I noticed that the smaller 5/8" pipe on the heater core runs to the water pump's 3/4" fitting. How did you deal with this transition? Use a 5/8" hose and a 3/4" hose and put a 5/8" to 3/4" adapter fitting somewhere inline of that hose, or just use a 3/4" hose and just 'clamp it down good' on the 5/8" heater core fitting?

(In the stock setup, the S shaped hose that runs from the heater core to the pipe is 5/8", but is formed/expanded to 3/4" for the heater pipe).

Well, I bought some fittings and when I get it installed I'll post pics of my setup in this thread.
