Are you talking about the weatherstripping between the hatch and the body or the sealer that seals the glass to the hatch?

i would say odds are the leak is because of the weather stripping and the wind force lets some rain in. My car also did this so i replaced the stripping. it was easy and solved the problem.

Ahh, ok here the thing when i bought my car the rear hatch window if you look at this

Where the arrow points, the owner before i think had a leak problem and that was siliconed down or rubber cement and i did'nt have a problem with it till recently.

And im really confused about what u said like the weatherstripping btwn the hatch and body or the sealer that seals the glass to the hatch?

What do you mean sealer

Please reply thanks alot

Also under that piece i was talking about, i had to silicone it down beacuse the clips seemed to be broken off on the body. there was no clips on that piece either at all.

I'm wondering if these are the clips and should this fix the problem that the piece won't stay down?

Also those are called...

79-93 MOLDING CLIP KIT, REAR WINDOW, HATCHBACK

that peice that the arrow points to is simply trim and those clips just hold it on...i beleive that the hatch glass is sealed by something else which is probably where your problem is.....the other weatherstripping that everyone is talking about is "under" the hatch inbetween the whole hatch and the body...thats where mine leaks after a carwash usually.

so maybe someone will know....what is the back window held in with???
Butyl rubber tape stuff im quessing..kinda like the windsheild?
