so i have about 3k to spend on motor. Whats some nice set ups to where id get the most power for the money spent. I was thinking full bolt ons then some nitrous or dropping something like a procharger (buddy of mine taking his off and will sale for 2200 full kit, injectors, hardware and all). Just want some ideas of what all i can do. looking to make at least 350-390 rear wheel horse. is that attainable with that amount of money??

forget bolts on besides LT's for cost per power results. Buy the kit, ignition and fuel upgrades then a dyno tune. Save for LT's and an intercooler if you want to be smart about it and do it all at once.

get the supercharger from your friend its a good deal if it has low miles and will put your power numbers where you want them and you will still have a little cash left over.

Procharge the shat out of it. If it includes all the stuff you'll need. Thats porbably the best choice. Say hello mr. boost!

i probably wouldnt go anymore than 12lbs on the stock bottom end. that would get ya somewhere in the 420rwhp range i would say. but for your goal if you stayed at 10lbs you would be fine for 390rwhp maybe a lil more who knows.

Likewise. I can't say anything bad about it. Your friend's deal (assuming it's the right SC for your car) is still a better deal though at face value. My only concern would be the tune. With the mongoose you're going to get a great tune as part of the deal. I'd be asking myself if the same were true with the Procharger. If you know a really good tuner, I'd go with it.
