I remember when gas was .89 cents a gallon when I first started driving 18yrs ago. Now we have been condtioned to think that 2.50 is CHEAP I better fill up.

Oh man those were the good ol' days. I started driving 8 years ago and it was .99 cents per gallon. I remember driving around getting mad when I saw iat $1.31. :bang:

Anyway, I go to less shows because they're all an hour drive each way, at least. So that's 2 hours and $50 worth of gas - hardly worth it to go sit in the sun and fry all day. Other than that I take the Stang for rides just as usual - but that's only once every other week or so. Being busy sucks!

I remember a few years ago when everywhere was 2 bucks a gallon, we in lil ole Suwanee, GA had the lowest gas prices in the country, at 79 cents a gallon. We were all over the national news, now we are about even with every one else. I think its 2.75 for 87 here.

i remember in 2000 or 2001 i worked at 7-11 and gas went down to .98 cents a gallon when i think the adverage price was 1.31... everyone was sooo happy! wish it would just down to 2.00 now and i would be pretty happy

I just heard that gas went up to 3.30/gal for 87 oct. in terra haute indiana. Thats about a 2 hr drive from me. I guess it will be the same price here in town soon.

I can remember in 1999 filling up my old F250 at a Maverick for $.79 a gallon. I remember it specifically becuase I was on the way to vivst my Bro in the hospital. How the hell can it go from .79 to 3.20 that fast???? Thats only 8 years.:bs:
