I upgraded my car to bullit brakes now when I go to my local parts stores they tell me there is no difference from Bullit to GT rotors or pads should I just get Cobra stuff or what? I thought Bullit was the same brakes as Cobra except for the emblems

well, thats what you get for going to a "parts" store ....Bullitt and Cobra for the most part are the same, save yourself the trouble and just go-to a dealer....

You need new rotors and pads already??

Your parts store guy is a moron. Just ask for Cobra stuff.

Check out tirerack.com for Brembo blanks. I just bought two rear Brembo rotors for my GT shipped for cheaper than it would have cost for some parts store crap-brand rotors.

I beleive the 13" Brembos are $62 each

Many parts stores didn't have a listing for the Bullitt for quite a while, most do by now. The service parts for the brakes are all the same as the Cobra so to make your life easier just ask for replacement parts from a Cobra. Parts store guys are usually dumb, misinformed or both.
