So my rear started whining about 4 months ago. Only on the freeway i can hear it but it hasnt been too bad. Lately while making U turns and other hard turns to the left i can hear loud clicking in the rear and my outside tire will skip and hop. So something is wrong with my diff carrier. I pride myself on doing my own work but rear end stuff is somewhere that i wont and havent gone. A local mustang shop says they can do a complete rebuild and overhaul on my rear end for $700. New clutches, seals, bearings everything. I was contemplating upgrading to 31 spling but $$ is an issue. The guys said that with the power im making on DRs that my rebuilt stock will be just fine. I dont plan on using slicks any time soon also. What do you guys think? My appt isnt for a few weeks so i could get the parts together if i have to. SO lemme know thanks guys.
