It's a no brainer that it's way easier with the engine out. But can it be done? Heads I think, yes? Cam I'm not too sure of?
Thanks!

Heads absolutely.

IF you pull the radiator and A/C condensor out of the car, you should have the room to pull the cam. Measure to make sure before tearing things apart.

Removed the radiator and unbolt the AC condenser. When removing the cam hold the AC condenser out of the way and you can remove the old cam and install the new one. This way you do not have to recover and then recharge the AC system.

Had to remove the front fascia, too. Just a few bolts and connectors on each side.

I did the heads and cam with the engine still in the car, but I had no AC to remove so once the radiator and everything was out of the way it was not bad at all.

It really wasn't a problem, I do have A/C so moving the condenser was necessary, but otherwise no big deal.
