It's a 4-banger with a single head. If you have a Haynes or Chilton manual and good torque wrench and socket set then you should be all set.

There's no magic here. Use a quality gasket set and follow the torque order and specification. Put everything back together the way it came apart and take lots of pics with your phone as you disconnect things.

From the Ford Shop Manual:

1. Position head gasket on block
2. Clean rocker arm cover (cam cover)
3. Install rocker cover gasket to the rocker cover.
The rubber gasket used on the engine does not require sealant.
4. Position cylinder head on block.
5. install cylinder head retaining bolts. Tighten in sequence in two steps: 50-60 lb-ft then 80-90 lb-ft.
