So I'll be insalling a NOVI 2000 high boost kit on my car soon. I just did a heads/cam/intake swap over the winter, so my head gaskets are fresh and everything is new, but I was thinking of studding the heads and getting new head gaskets just as a precaution. I'd hate to get this thing all together and tuned, just to push out a gasket under boost.

First, is it necessary? And, secondly, can you guys recommend which head gaskets are best for boosted conditions, and which part numbers for the gaskets and the ARP head studs? Thanks in advance.

I would use felpro 9333 pt-1 head gaskets, you can search on corral and stangnet, these are extremely reliable head gaskets you can get even for boosted applications. People run like 9's with these head gaskets, and there not anything super duty or expensive, I just got a set at advance for 16 bucks each. When running boost you don't want to get a head gasket that will NEVER fail, not that you want it to be a weak point, but you want the head gasket to blow before the rest of the engine grenades.

I'd go with the studs too, for sure.

I guess it would be important to know how much boost you plan on pushing though.
