head unit in mach 460

What is involved in swapping out the head unit for an aftermarket cd player? I dont want to swap it and then have something blow in the speakers because of the upped wattage. Is it a simple plug and play like in a normal factpry system, or does it have amps on the speakers? HELP ME PLEASE....lol

Because the 460 system has amps, I wouldnt reccommend swapping the head unit unless you change the entire system

You can install the HU while implementing the stock amps, though if you plan on adding anything later on, like aftermarket speakers, it's best to ditch the system. It's been covered a lot recently.
