Headers and H-pipe match up

Okay my Dad may be buying me some Long-tube headers for Xmas He knows he has to buy AOD specific ones, but here is my question I acquired a BBK short H-pipe w/cats that came off a 5-speed car a while back. If he bought me MAC Longtubes (they make AOD headers) Would it match up?

I could be wrong and we need more people to chime in on this one, but I think it will work perfectly. It does not matter if it is BBK or Mac as long is it is Long tube to shorty with aod specific for both.

well thats the one dilemma the shorty H-pipe came off a 5-speed car and my car is an AOD, the headers will be for an AOD

i thought the headers dont matter if its a 5spd or a AOD

only matters with the midpipe (H or X)

you should be fine, I don't think there is any difference in H pipes regarding auto or 5spd.

no diff in mid pipe whether its 5sp/auto. At least not for the shorty header midpipes...
