Headers require a Tune?

Okay, I've already installed a steeda CAI and tuned my car to accomodate that, using the SCT XCal 2.

My question is this, now I'm going to be installing Kooks 3V Long Tube Headers and X-Pipe along with SLP Loudmouth Muffs.

Will I need to re-flash my car? Will my tune need to be tweaked?

I don't want my car to run lean again and throw off the CEL.

Thanks,
Dave.

I had the JLT cai, JLT/SCT canned tune, and Steeda pulleys on my car before I got my JBA longtubes & off-road H-pipe. When I put the longtubes on, I simply turned off my rear O2's, eliminating the need for MIL eliminators. My JLT/SCT tune allowed me to do that, but some tunes from other companies don't allow all the features that the JLT leaves in. Turning off the rear O2's was the only change I made.

I drove it like this for 6 days before I got it dynod on Friday the 31st. I just wanted to be sure my A/F was ok with the longtubes. With only the rear O2 sensor change, my A/F was at a solid 13.3:1. The car put down 296/313 peak at the wheels.

Only change I made then was that I added 2% WOT richness with the XCal2. A/F went exactly to 13.0:1. HP didn't go up any at peak, but went up 4-5 hp across the board under the curve. However, peak torque went up 4 ft/lbs to 317 peak with 5-7 ft/lbs gained under the curve.

But the 13.3:1 A/F out of the box with the JLT tune was plenty safe.
