Headlight Removal

I just got my smoked housing headlights from Blue Oval Industries but I cant get the stock headlights off, its pissing me off. Ive gotten the retainer clip out but thats it. I cant get those stupid round black plastic nuts off of the bolts.

How the hell do I get them off? Im squeezing so hard its bending the pliers. Then when I loosen up, they still wont ****ing come off.

You just gotta do it...but from what im reading you might be doing it wrong.
On the black nuts there are two prongs that stick out, that is what you have to squeeze, then they will slide through the hole. The black nuts don't come off.
